About the Program
Addressing Youth Unemployment Through Data
Kenya's youth unemployment rate remains a significant challenge, with over 67% of unemployed Kenyans being youth aged 15-35 years. Our National Youth Employment Initiative addresses this challenge through comprehensive data collection and targeted interventions.
By collecting detailed information about unemployed youth across all 47 counties, we can better understand the specific challenges, skills gaps, and opportunities that exist in different regions and communities.
This data-driven approach enables us to design and implement more effective programs that match youth with appropriate opportunities based on their location, skills, education level, and interests.
